Mrs Foluke Abdul-Rasaq (Chairperson, Advisory)

Mrs Abdul-Rasaq has over 30 years combined banking and public sector experience including extensive banking experiences at Afribank Plc and Executive Chairman of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) appointed Interim Management Committee. Mrs Abdul-Rasaq also acted as Chief Executive Officer, Credite Bank Nigeria Limited.

Mrs Abdul-Rasaq was a Commissioner of Finance, Lagos State and was a member, Lagos State Executive Council; and Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development and held senior management positions at the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company (2001 – 2005).

She is currently the Chairman United Bank of Africa (UBA) Group, Credit Committee and Executive Director of Bridge House College, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Mrs Abdul-Rasaq is a trained accountant with a Masters degree in Banking and Finance, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Mr Victor Aniche (Chairman, Technical)

Mr Aniche has over 23 years engineering and management experience. Mr Aniche started his career as an engineer and rose to management positions in Schlumberger Limited. Mr Aniche has oilfields operational experience in Angola, South Africa, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Mr Aniche left Schlumberger to join Ocean and Oil Holdings as a Vice-President focusing on strategy, energy services investments and integrated project management.

He served as the Country Managing Director – Nigeria, Weatherford, one of the world’s largest multinational oil and natural gas service companies.

Mr Aniche graduated with an MBA, University of Cambridge UK; and Masters degree, Petroleum Engineering, Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh UK; and Masters degree, Mechanical Engineering University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Olanrewaju Oloniniyi (Vice Chairman, Advisory)

Lanre has executed investment ideas across the natural resources and technology industries.

Lanre has led principal investments in six early stage exploration companies. He currently sits on the board of four junior exploration companies, assets in Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda.

Before now, Lanre worked in investment banking roles at Citigroup and RBS. He also has extensive industry experience gained from working in business development, strategy and M&A with Subsea 7 and BP.

Lanre earned his MBA from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge UK; and Masters in Energy Economics from the Center for Energy and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland UK.

Abolaji Femi-Ishola (Chief Executive)

‘Bolaji is a transaction and subject matter expert in international energy and transport structuring and financing.

Bolaji serves as the Chief Executive at Tranergy & Co. Prior to Tranergy, Bolaji worked with Avante Capital as the Vice President (Energy) and prior to Avante Capital, he was with HBoS Banking Group UK working in credit risk for financial and commodity hedging transactions.

Bolaji worked in various economic analytical roles with Citigroup UK, and offshore investment and dealing roles with the Bank of New York Mellon. Bolaji was a senior transaction adviser on the US$1.65 billion Oando Energy Resources acquisition of Conoco Philips Nigeria and was the lead adviser on the US$170 million Mainstream Energy acquisition of Kainji Power Plc.

Bolaji holds a Masters degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, City of London UK; and Masters degree in Oil and Gas Economics from the University of Dundee, Scotland UK.
